DESIGNER


Sarp Sozdinler has worked as a Senior Designer at Ogilvy Social.Lab, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, Base Design Brussels, and VtwoB; he ran his own studio between 2013 and 2019. He has produced for a wide client base including Nike, Facebook, Ray Ban, and Uber, and his work got featured on It’s Nice That, Etapés, Novum, Eye, among others. He ran workshops and taught Typography as a visiting professor upon completing his studies at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul.

WRITER


A YW fellow, Sarp Sozdinler is a writer based in Philadelphia and Amsterdam. His work has been published in the Kenyon Review, Electric Literature, Masters Review, Normal School, American Literary ReviewHAD, HobartX-R-A-Y, No Contact, Maudlin House, Passages North, Offing, Moonpark Review, and elsewhere. Some of his pieces have been anthologized and awarded various recognitions in literary contests and portfolios by Jonathan Escoffery, Laura van den Berg, Paul Yoon, and Allegra Hyde. He is at work on his first novel.
